Our Approach
Recruiting & Quality Control

Before we fill any order, extensive efforts have been made to find and screen prospective candidates. Our recruiting efforts go beyond access to the job boards. We have long term relationships with most of the universities/colleges in the region and their alumni organizations as well as local professional organizations.

In addition, a significant number of candidates come from our outsourcing services given at no charge to local companies who are forced to cut back. Our best way, however, is through referrals from the many candidates and clients that we have successfully helped.

Sourcing candidates is the first step. After prescreening over the phone, potential candidates are brought in for extensive face to take interviews. Where applicable we test them on their competency using of Microsoft Office products, and or knowledge of their discipline. Lastly, we will never place a candidate without checking references.

We only perform reference checks based on the information the candidates provides, and it is not intended to an exhaustive check of all prior employment, education, or criminal background, etc. Upon our client’s request, we can engage a national background company, at our discounted rate, to perform a more in-depth background check.

ABBA Professional Staffing, LLC DOES NOT accept any liability or responsibility for the information provided by the company who performs the background/verification information that employers are generally looking to obtain on perspective candidates prior to employment. We, ABBA Professional Staffing, LLC, are acting as a third party who requests the report on our client’s request, and our client will be billed accordingly.

In the end, our candidates are entered into an extensive database which is instantaneously accessible by all Executive Account Managers and searchable by key criteria. We frequently stay in touch with all our candidates and we always preview the jobs and positions with them prior to submitting them for your consideration.

Our candidates know that they will never be presented without their approval. This insures that there will be no conflicts with our clients getting candidates from multiple sources. It also insures that clients get only "Qualified and Interested" candidates.
